Software
Advisor software that connects computation, files, reports, and publishing
5thN’s software environment combines advisor websites, secure file workflows, portfolio computation, reporting, and application delivery into a single operating platform for licensed financial professionals.
Platform architecture
Three integrated layers
Portfolio construction
Advisors create portfolio files in a Nextcloud workspace. These files define the securities, portfolio rules, constraints, and inputs needed for computation.
Computation and testing
Apps launched through the web interface can run current-day reallocations or full backtesting simulations, with graphical results available during the process.
Report distribution
Portfolio files and outputs live in advisor folders. Nightly computations can generate updated reports into specific Nextcloud directories for advisor review and client-facing use.
Why WordPress and Nextcloud?
WordPress provides the presentation layer. Nextcloud provides the file and workflow layer. Together, they let advisors publish client-facing material, embed computation-driven tools, transfer portfolio definitions, receive generated reports, and organize shared documents in a familiar environment.
Website layer
Advisors can use a familiar web publishing environment and embed 5thN computational applications into pages or client areas.
File and workflow layer
Nextcloud acts as the shared drive where portfolio specifications are placed and where computational results are returned.
Trial and qualification model
The software platform is intended for the financial services industry. Prospective users should be licensed and verifiable through FINRA BrokerCheck or SEC Adviser Info, with an active Series 65 or Series 66 license. Trial systems can be configured so advisors can test the workflow before committing to a production deployment.
Deployment choices
The software story can support more than one implementation path: 5thN-hosted systems, advisor-office deployments, hybrid cloud setups, and local server clusters for firms that want more control over computation, reporting, and document workflows.
