The power of this software suite lay directly in 5thN Financial’s software. The software is server based, meaning it runs on our servers thereby not requiring any additional computers in your facility. The software has three distinct components;

WordPress is used on more than 800 Million websites worldwide. WordPress amounts to more than 40% of all websites worldwide, and amount to almost 60% of content management based websites worldwide. With this of usage, the WordPress’s software base and plugin base is the most advanced worldwide, hands-down! Also, with this level of worldwide coverage, there’s a content creation expert almost everywhere, even in the smallest towns! If you want to learn WordPress, there’s plenty of resources from, YouTube, to Udemy and plenty of places in between. If you can use a Word Processor, like Microsoft Word, then WordPress is well within you grasp.

If you’ve heard of DropBox, Nextcloud will seem very familiar. Nextcloud is a cloud based storage application. In many ways Nextcloud is superior to Dropbox. Nextcloud is used within our system to transfer information to and from 5thN Financial’s Portfolio computation application. Nextcloud is where portfolio reports are written to, and portfolio composition and constraint are read from. Nextcloud is where our clients may share their own “WordPress” blog post for other Advisors using our software. It’s also where you may pickup shared post to place on your WordPress site. It’s where building a strong set of portfolios begins. Each Advisor in your office can have their own shared space, build their own portfolios and get portfolio results to give to clients. There’s always a main account for a responsible individual to transfer reports, post, and all other information from and in-house distribution to a public distribution. This can include portfolio results, blog post, etc.

We host your website (WordPress), Nextcloud drive, and our software at a specific web address. However, you will need to determine what web address you would like to use. For example, our web address is https://5thn.com/ … You will need to check and see if you can find a domain that you like. There are several ways to see if a domain is available, for example https://domain.com is one location. Do not buy the domain as we will include managing this for you. Your goal is to find a domain you would like, we’ll do the rest. We manage domains using https://www.cloudflare.com/ because of it’s advanced capabilities.

Training.

We know the entire process can be a bit overwhelming. However, after you proceed through one portfolio computation the workflow will seem incredibly simple. In addition, we pride our self in showing you how to get through the entire process. We have a small course on the work-flow from start-2-finish. In addition we have a set of trial sites setup to allow you to login and work your way through the process. These sites auto-reset themselves every hour. Their passwords reset themselves about once a week. So if someone changes a password or really messes up the site, “no worries just wait till the top of the hour”. This also means there could be more than one person on the site at a time. We try our best to avoid that, but it has happened before.

First, the software is leased for a period, usually a year at a time. We only service the financial services industry. We do not supply software to the general public. You must be licensed and verifiable on either FINRA or the SEC web sites. You must have an active Series 65 or 66 license.
